Mindjárt vége az évnek, a 49. hét - This is nearly the end of the year (Week 49.)

A hét legnagyobb eseménye a nágocsi ajándékozás volt, ahol minden eddiginél nagyobb számban tudtunk megjelenni. Ennek azért is volt különös jelentősége, mert az ajándékozottak ünnepi műsorral készültek, nem kevés meghatott pillanatot okozva.

The biggest event of the week was the handing over of the Christmas presents at Nágocs where we could gather in the highest number ever. This was extremely important as we were surprised by them, too. They organised a programme for us that caused many moving moments.

Hihetetlen volt látni az örömet, meglepetést az arcokon, amikor az ajándékok átadásra kerültek, ez az érzés leírhatatlan, mindenkinek őszintén ajánlom, hogy egyszer vegyen részt egy ilyen eseményen. Nem csak a gyermekek és utógondozott fiatal-felnőttek lettek gazdagabbak, az intézményi csomagba is sok hasznos dolog került.

It was great to see happiness, surprise on the faces when the presents were handed over. This feeling cannot be described. I think those who would like to experience once should join us next year. Not only the kids and out-of-state-care youngsters got something but there were many useful things in the package collected for the foundation as well.

A Magyar Rádió Pécsi Stúdiója készített egy riportot az átadáson, melyhez segítőnk, tagunk, hiperaktív kismamánk válogatott képeket az átadásról. Mindenkinek köszönjük, hogy segíthettünk!

There was an interview done by the Pécs Studio of the Hungarian Radio that was upgraded with photos by our hyperactive mother-to-be. We thank you all who helped us help! (The interview is only in Hungarian but it is still worth watching the photos.)

Az utcáról a gondozásunkba került Bandi kutya nem sokat időzött ideiglenes befogadóinak, akiknek ezúton is hálásan köszönjük, hogy segítségünkre siettek. Átesett az ivartalanításon, majd másnap már egy másik városban találta magát: kecskeméti lakos lett. Az ő története sikertörténet, hiszen minden álomszerűen illeszkedett, de sajnos a kutyamentős puzzle nem mindig ilyen kevés elemű és egyszerű. Mindenesetre minden jót kívánunk neki!

Bandi, the street dog did not stay too long in our care. His temporary family was more than superb that offered a home for the transition period. Bandi was castrated and the very next day he moved to another city: he became a Kecskemét dog. His story is a success story, as all the little pieces were matching but the dog rescue puzzle does not seem to be this easy all the time: there are more pieces, more trouble. We wish him a long and happy life however.

A kobzás elől átvett rövid szőrű tacskó kanunk, Vonó is átesett az ivartalanításon. Mostanra már teljesen összeszedte magát, a szőre fényes, a szeme tökéletesen meggyógyult.

Our short-haired dachshund rescued from bad keeping called Vonó was also castrated. He is not thin anymore and his fur is shiny, his eye healed perfectly.

Végezetül szeretnék titokban beszámolni arról, hogy az egyik örökbefogadónk (Zamó néni gazdija, Liza) közbenjárásával az egyik volt védencünk, Csörnöc-Dorka egy reklámfilm forgatásán vett részt és hamarosan látható lesz a TV-ben egy áruházlánc kampányában. Nagyon-nagyon büszke vagyok az örökbefogadó csapatra! Köszönöm!

Last but not least I would like to share a secret: through the intervention of one of the girls who adopted a dog from us (Zamó, the big eared dachshund mix) our ex-rescued-one, Csörnöc could participate in the preparation of an advertisement.  You can see her in the TV ad of a commercial line. I am so very proud of them! Thanks a lot.
